Dear MendMeShop,

I purchased this product recently for my plantar fasciitis. I've been using it about a week, and it has helped a lot with the pain when I first get out of my bed in the morning. I previously tried something else, that was more like a sock, that pulled the toes, and that only caused pain. This [night splint] is very comfortable to wear, and I love how much I'm able to adjust it! I would recommend this to anyone!

More Facts About Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

In 2003 the US Department of Labor reported 23 days as the average number of work days missed due to CTS costing over $2 billion a year.

There is little medical evidence yet proving that carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by repetitive movements.

If youre unable to tell the difference between hot and cold with your hand, you might be suffering from a severe case of CTS or some other injury (ie. an impingement or ganglion cyst).

Continually using your wrist while it is injured will lead to a more serious and/or chronic injury.

In chronic cases of carpal tunnel syndrome the muscles at the base of your thumb might atrophy (waste away).

Most doctors wont suggest surgery unless conservative treatment is tried for 6 months.

Wrist arthritis or a wrist fracture can narrow the space in your wrist that might cause carpal tunnel syndrome.

Moving your hand or shaking your wrist can temporarily help to relieve the tingling sensation or swollen feeling.

Its common in the early stages of CTS to feel pain and numbness at night while sleeping.

Not all wrist and finger pain or finger numbness and tingling is carpal tunnel syndrome.

Only 40% of people suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome will continue to feel full pain relief 1 year after a cortisone injection.

Doctors wont normally give someone more than 2 or 3 cortisone injections to reduce pain from CTS.

There is no clinical proof that use of computers, cell phones, PDAs, gaming systems, and other handheld devices will cause CTS.

Dear MendMeShop,

I am treating plantar fasciitis and I am a professional boxer. We do a lot of running and jumping rope, which is all very demanding on my feet. I've tried orthotics and cortisone injections and none gave me the relief i have with the aidmyplantar.com products! I had searched online for an alternative. The best part is no co-pay every time I treat myself with these products. You can have relief from pain in your feet and your wallet. brianmintoboxing.com

Dear MendMeShop,

After more than a year of pain in my left arm I was at my wit's end! I was tired of taking pain pills every time I exerted myself. My doctor had prescribed anti-inflammatory drugs and a brace for my elbow, but after a year, and numerous visits to the doctor, it kept getting worse. Then my wife found the Inferno Wrap. I was leery and I told her so. She said - well it will cost you $150.00 to visit the doctor again and it hasn't helped yet, so why not give it a try?" She ordered it and the first couple of times I used it my elbow hurt a bit more than before, but after a week, I began to see some improvement. By 3 months it was much better, and today it doesn't bother me at all. I recommended it to my doctor on my next visit! Now I tell everyone to get one! My wife and I both use it now (as she recently injured her elbow). Getting old is not fun, but the Inferno Wrap definitely works and definitely helps! I highly recommend it!

Dear MendMeShop,

I am a 44 year-old woman in good health. I eat a fresh diet and take high-quality supplements, including MSM, glucosamine, Zyflamend, and all the usual joint-recomended supplements. I injured both knees two years ago while kneeling to tile my family room and entry. Subsequently, a simple twisting squat ripped my left meniscus with a huge bucket tear that required surgery to trim so it wouldn't keep catching and re-tearing. I am not one to undergo surgery unless it is unavoidable, and even after a "simple" scope operation, it took me a full year to get full extension back on that knee, and I doubt I will ever be able to squat again. I run a cleaning business. A couple of months ago an employee had forgotten to return equipment to my van, and I had to mop some hardwood flooring for a client on my hands and knees. That simple ten-minute job put me back out of commission. The kneeling pre-injured the area, and when I stepped back onto my good leg two days later, I felt that familiar burn of a fresh meniscus tear. I was heartsick, dreading another surgery and the attendant expense, pain, and down time. I know from my previous experience that cartilage is hard to heal because of the poor blood supply, especially to the center. I knew it was just a matter of time before I tore it further. (My dad had multiple knee scopes before finally getting a replacement, but I was not going down that path if I could help it!) I got online and researched alternatives that would get me back on my feet. Delighted to discover Mend Me Shop and their professional athletic healing devices, I ordered the Inferno Wrap and Ice Wrap. $400 would be a pittance relative to the $13,000 it costs to repair a torn meniscus (and that doesn't include rehab and lost income). During the week it took the package to arrive, I stayed off my feet as much as possible and iced the injured knee several times a day. My big hope was simply to avoid tearing the cartilage further before the stuff came. (With my surgery knee, I had re-torn it repeatedly before surgery.) The minute that I put that Inferno wrap around my bad knee, I was in love! The penetrating warmth felt amazing. I kept it by my desk and strapped it on when I would sit and work at the computer. And I kept icing the knee. Within a couple weeks I was walking evenly on both legs, if gingerly lest I inadvertently twist or bounce. But I was definitely healing. I didn't miss any work after the first week, though I moved more slowly than usual and occasionally felt that piercing reminder of the tear. I had to lie down and elevate my knee every two hours to get through the day, but it was slowly healing. Four weeks later I was feeling so good, and the day was so sunny, that I went skipping off the front porch and was reminded I have a torn meniscus! And so it goes to this day, some six weeks later: the injury is there, but it is gradually improving. The more I use the therapy devices, the faster it improves. The more I get lazy and feel perfect and neglect them, the more I slow down. But I work a full schedule without breaks and only occasionally am reminded of the injury. By God's grace and with many thanks to Mend Me Shop, I have avoided surgery! Gratefully yours, Debbie Morgan

Dear MendMeShop,

I'm doing well with my Inferno Wraps. I have one for my foot, leg, back, and elbow. My elbow IS gradually getting better. The foot/ankle/Achilles, leg, and back/hip are helping a lot. I have a complex soft tissue injury from a fall where my foot was asleep and I did not know it ... UNTIL I fell on the floor, having twisted (running on my foot that turned over) my ankle, knee, and hip. I have healed well from the original injury (now 4 years ago) with lots of chiropractic and massage therapy and lots of rehab. One of my rehabs now is "Ballroom Dancing" with a teacher who understands injuries. I call it "Physio-dance therapy for rehabilitation." I've done this for the last 8 months and have gotten incredibly stronger and improved coordination and balance. But, 3 weeks ago I "strained" my Achilles/calf/ankle/foot muscles and tendons. I purchased the Inferno Wraps to help expedite my healing, which they HAVE DONE and I've only used them 2 weeks now. I am using them 2 times per day, every day.

Wrist Sprains and Strains:
What's the Difference?

What is a sprain?

A sprain is a stretch and/or tear of a ligament (fibrous band of connective tissue that joins bone to bone). Every joint in the body is stabilized and supported by a ligament. They help control range of motion and enabling us to complete simple tasks such as walk and run.

What is a strain?

A strain is an injury of a muscle and/or tendon. Tendons (fibrous cords of tissue that attach muscles to bone).

Tendonitis is inflammation of a tendon which is caused by straining or tearing of tendon fibers.

Sprains and strains are among the most common injuries in sports, professional, amateur athletes and the general public. You are more at risk for the injury if you have a history of sprains and strains, are overweight, and are in poor physical condition.

Sprains and strains are categorized according to severity:

  • MILD - A ligament or muscle is stretched in a mild sprain, but there is no joint loosening.
  • MODERATE - A moderate sprain partially tears the ligament or muscle, producing joint instability, and some swelling.
  • SEVERE - A severe sprain produces excruciating pain at the moment of injury, as ligaments or muscle tear completely, or separate from the bone. The complete rupture makes the joint nonfunctional.

You should seek medical attention if you suspect that you've ruptured a tendon, ligament or muscle in your wrist, can't move your wrist and have numbness in any part of the injured area.

WRIST SPRAIN / SPRAINED WRIST

What are the signs of a sprain?

While the intensity varies, pain, bruising, swelling, limited ability to move the affected joint, and inflammation are common to all 3 categories of sprains: mild, moderate, and severe. You may feel a tearing or hear a 'pop' sound in the joint.

What causes sprains?

A sprain is caused by direct or indirect trauma (a fall, a blow to the body, etc.) that knocks a joint out of position, and overstretched, and, in severe cases, ruptures the supporting ligaments. This injury occurs when an a person lands on an outstretched arm; slides into a base; jumps up and lands on the side of the foot; or runs on an uneven surface.

    Sprained wrist
  • Sprained Wrist.
A fall onto an outstretched hand, the force impact bends the wrist back toward your forearm, stretching and ligaments that connect the wrist and hand bones a little too far. A momentary loss happens during everyday activities, but frequently occurs during sports and outdoor recreation. Wrist sprains are common with basketball, baseball, gymnasts, divers, skiers (especially when they fall while still holding a pole), skaters, skateboarders, and inline skaters (rollerbladers).
  • Sprained Finger. Injury to three joints of the fingers 'jamming' the finger into an opponent or being hit on the tip of the finger by a ball. Bending the finger backward (hyperextended). Are often overlooked as 'just a finger', finger injuries can be very painful and lead to chronic ailments (trigger finger) if not treated correctly.

WRIST TENDON STRAIN /
STRAINED WRIST TENDON (Tendonitis, Tendinitis)

Strained tendons can be painful.

The strained tendon is a common yet painful injury that will occur in almost everyone at least once in their lifetime. The trick with a strained tendon is to make sure it heals properly which will provide the lowest chance of reinjury. Re-injury of a strained or stressed tendon occurs more easily than the initial injury and there is usually much more inflammation around a re-injured tendon than there was during the original injury. Tendonitis is a degenerative condition in the tendon fibers that attach muscles to bone, and sufferers generally complain of a severe, burning pain in the area, which gradually worsens and becomes even worse from stress on the joint.

If you got it from a workout, heavily reduce your workout intensity through the healing stage, and make sure the injured tendon is warmed up (and down) properly before and after a workout where it will be stressed. When treating tendinitis, rest the area, apply cold compression for 10-20 minutes at a time for at least 3 times a day. Do this to the injured area for the first day up to 3 days.

What are the signs of a Strained Tendon?

Signs include pain, weakness in the tendon, swelling, inflammation, and limited ability to move the affected area. With a mild strain, the tendon is stretched or pulled, slightly. Some function will be lost with a moderate strain, where the tendon is overstretched and slightly torn. In severe strains, the tendon is partially or completely ruptured, often disabling the person.

    De Quervain's Syndrome
  • Wrist / Hand Tendonitis. Tendonitis of the wrist (extensor / flexor tendonitis) usually happens from overuse of the hands and wrists. This can happen from certain jobs that require a lot of hand / wrist movement (ie. assembly line work, tailor, production sewer, mechanic, gardener, painter, office worker, cashier, etc). Although it hasn't been medically proven, tendonitis in the wrist and hand can sometimes be linked to extended use of computer keyboards and other handheld devices (cell phones, PDAs, gaming systems). With this injury you'll feel pain and swelling in your wrist or hand, and extreme cases may have some nerve damage (carpal tunnel syndrome) with atrophy (wasting away) of the thumb muscle. Other conditions like de Quervain's tendonitis, and thumb tendonitis may mean a thickening of the tissue in your thumb or your thumb (or your pointer finger) is permanently stuck in a bent position (sometimes referred to as 'trigger finger' or 'trigger thumb').
  • Elbow / Forearm Tendonitis. There are 2 common tendonitis injuries that usually result in elbow and forearm pain: Tennis Elbow (lateral epicondylitis) and Golfer's Elbow (medial epicondylitis). In both cases pain, swelling and inflammation will be felt around the bony part of the elbow. With tennis elbow, pain will be felt on the outside of the elbow, while pain is felt on the inside of the elbow with golfer's elbow. The tendons attached to the bone at your elbow are connected to muscles in your forearm, which is why these injuries will sometimes cause pain in your forearm. These injuries are usually caused by racquet sports, golf and overuse from gardening and repetitive movements of your hand or wrist (ie. using a screwdriver).
  • Arm tendonitis. There triceps tendon is the only major tendon in the arm. This tendon connects the triceps muscle to the bony point of the elbow Full rupture of the tricep tendon in the arm is one of the rarest tendon injuries and can usually only happen after some kind of trauma (accident). If you have tricep tendonitis you'll experience pain, swelling and inflammation around the top of your elbow.
  • Biceps tendonitis
  • Shoulder tendonitis. Your shoulders are the most movable joints in your body. The most common forms of shoulder tendonitis include supraspinatus tendonitis (rotator cuff injury) and bicep tendonitis. Supraspinatus tendonitis can sometimes happen with shoulder impingement syndrome. Individuals that work in jobs with repeated overhead activity and atlhetes participating in swimming, tennis and volleyball are most affected by this injury. If you have supraspinatus tendonitis you'll experience pain, swelling and inflammation on the side of your shoulder (around the deltoid muscle). Much like supraspinatus tendonitis, bicep tendonitis is caused by repetitive overhead activities like swimming, tennis and baseball or even lifting weights. If you have bicep tendonitis you'll experience pain, swelling and inflammation at the front of your shoulder. Bicep tendonitis is a common condition that occurs with other problems in the shoulder joint.

Wrist Sprain or Wrist Strain Injuries -
What You Can Do!

We Have Advanced Treatment Tools to Help You
Speed Up Healing of Your Wrist Sprain or Strain Injury

The good news is that most cases of wrist sprain or wrist strain will heal with simple home conservative treatments and surgery is often not needed!

Step 1 - Reduce Regular Activities & Rest Your Wrist
Our Freezie Wraps provide consistent cold compression ideal for acute tendonitis injuries.

Allowing your wrist to rest is always recommended following injury. Avoid all activities that may have caused the injury or irritation and begin cold compression treatments as soon as possible. Immediate and continuous treatment with cold compression will reduce the pressure being placed on the nerve in your wrist, thereby reducing the symptoms of your wrist injury and avoid developing worse case of carpal tunnel syndrome.

When you have your pain, swelling and inflammation under control you can actually start to apply treatments with tools that will encourage healing in your wrist. Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy will treat scar tissue and promote blood flow to heal your damaged soft tissue faster and more completely than other methods available. Using these conservative treatment tools can get you back to a life without pain and eliminate any further risk of reinjury.

Step 2 - Reduce Pain & Swelling with Cold Compression
When should you use hot or cold for injuries?

The 2nd step for conservative treatment of your wrist injury is to reduce the swelling to "open up" the area for more blood flow. Anyone in the health-care business knows that your blood supplies the oxygen and much needed nutrients required for your body to heal naturally after surgery. This is why doctors and surgeons recommend cold compression therapy within the first 72 hours of an injury.

Although RICE can help to treat these symptoms, ice and freezer gel packs reach temperatures so low they can cause cryoburn, an ice burn on your skin. The problem is, up until now there hasn't been any other option to treat painful conditions and injuries, so ice and blue gel packs (full of anti-freeze and chemicals) have been the only choice available.

Fortunately you no longer have to settle for these ice cold methods that are uncomfortably cold against your skin, provide short term relief, cause ice burns, numb your skin and underlying tissue beyond feeling so you don't even notice the ice burn until it's too late! You can also get rid of those cold packs that warm up soon after you pull them out of the freezer and gel that pools around your injury putting the short-term cold everywhere except for where you need it most - on your wrist injury!

Use a Wrist Freezie Wrap for consistent cold compression to soothe your pain, swelling and inflammation.

The Freezie Wrap® is the cold compression tool you need for healing or post-surgical recovery to treat yourself in an effective and convenient way.

When used on a wrist sprain/strain injury, our Freezie Wraps® provide:

  • The highest-level of cold compression to quickly decrease pain, swelling, inflammation and draw the heat out of your wrist.
  • A tailored wrap that conforms perfectly around your wrist.
  • Effective cold compression that's unlike any other cold compression wrap out there.
  • Cold temperatures that stay right over your wrist injury for the entire length of your treatment.
  • A home-based solution with consistent (daily) cold treatments that reduces swelling fast, decreases tissue damage after injury or surgery, and opens up the vessels in and around your wrist to receive the blood flow circulation needed to heal quickly and naturally.

What's RigiGel®?

RigiGel® is our trademarked name for a unique gel formula that's made out of food-grade, non-toxic material which holds the cold for an extended period of time. This specially formulated gel also features non-migrating gel technology that makes our Wrist Freezie Wrap® truly different from any other wrap available on the market.

When should you use hot or cold for injuries?
  • More cooling power per pound of gel than standard cold compression wraps.
  • More gel than other wraps, meaning every time you put one on it will keep your wrist cold for a longer period; pain relief is enhanced and swelling is better controlled.

Our special RigiGel® packs can be chilled in the fridge or freezer to tailor the amount of cold that you need for your injury. It doesn't matter how you cool it down, because our gel packs are chock full of gel that's designed to cool down into millions of tiny snowflakes. This method of cooling means our gel packs aren't icy-cold, just perfectly cold enough to give you the most effective cold compression available.

The cushioned gel will wrap around your wrist and it won't budge for the entire treatment period. You'll no longer have to deal with annoying pooling around your wrist or have to hold a hard block of ice on your injury!

Effective Cold Compression Therapy slows nerve and cell function - reducing the swelling that blocks blood vessels from doing their job.

Success Stories

This is important because once blood vessels are blocked or damaged, they can no longer carry oxygenated blood through the tissue and tissue cells begin to break-down. Without cold compression therapy cellular break-down and tissue damage continues as the cells don't get the oxygen they need to survive. By limiting the amount of damage done to the tendons in your wrist, you also limit the amount of healing that needs to occur. This is a very important step to heal wrist injuries faster and with less pain! This is why you need to treat your wrist pain right after it's hurt, when you notice pain / swelling / inflammation, or directly after a re-injury. Applying a Wrist Freezie Wrap® right away will stop the damage immediately and unblock your blood vessels to let your body's natural blood flow in to start healing the tissue.

The Freezie Wrap® = Effective Cold Compression Therapy

It'll seem weird for you to read this, but there are a LOT of people out there that don't understand how fast cold compression with a Freezie Wrap® can get the swelling / inflammation in your wrist under control! After you get rid of the swelling for good you can start dealing with your wrist injury and pain head on.

Use a Cold Compression Wrist Freezie Wrap®:

  • 24 to 72 hours after your initial injury or when you first notice pain and swelling to stop cellular damage, relieve pain, and decrease swelling.
  • After exercise, workouts or activity of any kind to prevent re-injury.
  • Before and after surgery during rehabilitation to control pre and post-surgery pain and swelling.
  • Anytime you feel your wrist starting to get tender, painful or swollen again.
  • Anytime you have swelling, sharp throbbing pain or inflammation.
  • Any other situation where you need to draw the pain and inflammation out of your wrist.

Step 3 - Improve Circulation, Soften Scar Tissue & Prevent Re-Injury with Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy

There are a lot of people that think their wrist injury is gone after their swelling and inflammation are gone and their wrist feels better. They also make the mistake of returning to regular activities too soon without proper time for healing. The truth is that healing takes time and after the swelling is gone your wrist injury isn't even close to being fully healed.

healing your wrist sprain

After the inflammation in and around your wrist has been reduced, providing extra blood flow and strengthening the tissue in and around your thumb and wrist is recommended. Believe it or not, the best time for you to focus on avoiding re-injury and strengthening the weakened tissue in your hand is when the swelling's gone and your wrist has started to heal. It's vital that you don't go back to activities too soon because you might bring on a major setback in your recovery...

  • Have you recently re-injured your wrist by returning to your normal daily activities too quickly?
  • How many times in the past have you aggravated your wrist just trying to perform basic tasks around your house?
  • Is your wrist preventing you from work or activities you love to do?

If this sounds like you - You're not alone...

Most people we deal with tell us these scenarios have happened to them many times in the past. The real challenge is how to promote blood flow to your injured wrist and hand without causing further damage. This goal is even more complicated by the fact that you have to use your hand for almost everything in everyday life.

What can you do to actually start healing your wrist injury?

The answer is simple. Your body can heal itself and it's the blood in your body that makes it all happen. Your blood is how everything that's good inside of you is transported directly to your injured wrist and surrounding tissue. Your blood carries oxygen, nutrients, water and antibodies right to the source of your injury and pain. Bringing proper blood flow to your injured wrist is essential to healing.

Using Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy (BFST®), will help with your post-surgical recovery. BFST® increases the amount of blood that flows naturally to your soft tissue to nourish your wrist, improving elasticity and decreased the rate of further degeneration.. This increased Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy to your damaged meniscus is greatly needed flush out the toxins and avoid re-injury once and for all.

Promoting blood flow to your wrist to help your body heal itself is a concept that has been utilized for centuries. Oxygen and nutrients, carried within the blood, are critical for the body to heal itself. Without proper blood flow, your recovery from any soft tissue injury will be delayed... sometimes for a very long period of time.

Even though the concept is simple, improving blood flow to your wrist while it's injured can be difficult. Traditional methods require you to move in order to promote blood flow - but that same motion that promotes blood flow can also make your pain and or compress the nerves even more giving you just more pain. Relying on movement alone to increase blood flow puts you in danger of re-injuring your wrist.

This is where the Wrist Inferno Wrap® and Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy (BFST®) come in!

Use a Wrist Inferno Wrap to increase blood flow and stimulate tissue growth.

Using Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy (BFST®), will help with your recovery and heal your wrist more completely. BFST® increases the amount of blood that flows naturally to your soft tissue to nourish your wrist and hand, improving elasticity and speeding the healing process. This increased Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy to your damaged tissues is greatly needed to complete your healing and avoid re-injury once and for all.

The only way to get BFST® is through use of a Wrist Inferno Wrap®.

The Wrist Inferno Wrap® is the only treatment method that improves blood flow and circulation on a deep tissue level. Other methods of warming / heating tissue (hot water bottles, hot baths, etc) will only ever increase blood flow on a surface / skin level. These methods need a LOT of time to even reach your damaged tendons/ligaments on a deep tissue level. And even if you were to use them this long your skin would heat up to an uncomfortable level and it may even burn you.

The best source of heat treatment is from a product where you don't even feel that much heat. When you don't feel the heat, it means the therapy is working in your deep soft tissue which is really where you need it. It's kind of like how your heart works in your body. You can't "feel" your heart pumping blood all around your body to your arms and legs. You can't even hear your own heartbeat without listening very closely. This is exactly how deep tissue BFST® works too! You're not supposed to "feel" a lot of heat because the heat isn't treating your skin, it's treating the damaged tissue in your wrist by increasing the blood flow right in your soft tissue.

When should you use hot or cold for injuries?
  • When treating any soft tissue injury, an effective therapy will increase blood flow to the injury while the joint is immobile.
  • This increase in blood flow will accelerate the body's own ability to heal itself.
  • The Wrist Inferno Wrap® is the most highly effective blood flow stimulation device that you will find on the market that is approved by the FDA for use in the home or hospital.

How Does the Wrist Inferno Wrap® Promote BFST®?

Electromagnetic energy increases blood flow on a deep tissue level.

Every Inferno Wrap® contains a patented Energy Web® that's flexible and shaped to conform around your wrist. The Energy Web® provides a uniform wave of healing electromagnetic energy over the entire treatment area. This energy travels deep inside your soft tissue to stimulate blood flow on the deep tissue level where it's needed to heal your injury. It's the electromagnetic energy provided provided by our Inferno Wraps® that's crucial to the healing process.

Electromagnetic energy is the only way to get your blood flow moving on a deep tissue level for these reasons:

  • Electromagnetic energy waves are not heat waves.

  • When emitted from the Inferno Wrap®, electromagnetic energy waves penetrate right through your skin and fat layers until they get to your damaged tissue.
  • Once these energy waves reach your injured wrist, they're absorbed and quickly converted into heat energy right at the location of your injury
  • The idea of electromagnetic energy waves is slowly catching on in North American, but the truth is, it's a technology that's been used for decades

Many people just don't know that over the past 30 years, researchers in Japan and China have completed extensive studies on the use of electromagnetic energy for healing and their findings have been impressive. Success has been reported in studies from countries like Sweden and Germany. Research is continuing and soon, much of North American will know what the Far East and Europe has known for a long time...

Electromagnetic energy provides a wide range of health benefits for those not only suffering from mild or severe wrist sprain or strain, but for many other soft tissue injuries as well.

Regular treatment with the electromagnetic energy in our Inferno Wraps® will ensure:

  • Your pain will be reduced.
  • Your injured wrist tissue will heal at an accelerated rate with reduced potential for re-injury.
  • Your wrist and hand will have a larger range of motion and increased extensibility of collagen tissue in your joint and around your meniscus. (Chapter 9 of "Therapeutic Heat and Cold", 4th edition. (amazon.com link - Ed. Justus F. Lehmann, M.D., Williams, and Wilkin)

Electromagnetic Energy = Increased Blood Flow = More Oxygen, More Nutrients and Less Toxins = Faster Healing

Our Inferno Wraps® are uniquely patented designs that are better than other alternatives out there for more than just the electromagnetic energy they provide! Our wraps are made from medical-grade material - this should be as important to you as it is to us. Other products that are sold in stores are considered "consumer goods" meaning the material only needs to be as good as a sweater that you wear. Clothing articles like this don't need to meet high standards of production or materials and may include materials that irritate your skin.

Since our wraps are medical-grade products registered with the FDA, they are of a higher quality and need to meet way more standards for manufacturing (ISO 10993 - biocompatibility testing). This makes our wraps the safest product to increase blood flow circulation.

Our manufacturer has spent years perfecting the wrap design to make sure you get the treatment you deserve!

Use the BFST® Wrist Inferno Wrap®:

  • After swelling and inflammation have been reduced with cold compression.
  • Before exercise, workouts or any repetitive tasks to warm up the soft tissue in your wrist to prevent re-injury.
  • Before and after surgery during rehabilitation to warm up your tissues before physical therapy exercising or stretching.
  • Anytime you feel your wrist has stiffened up, is tight and your mobility is reduced causing you more pain.
  • Anytime you have sore or aching tissue.
  • Any other situation where you need to increase blood flow to your wrist to relax your soft tissue, relieve pain, prevent re-injury and enhance flexibility.

In our testing we discovered that the fit of our wrap will differ with our customers with smaller or larger hands/wrists to provide full treatment coverage. If you find your wrap doesn't cover the area you need to treat, then try using it without the loop around your thumb, wrapping the wrap around your wrist in a different way, or shifting the wrap around until it covers your wrist where you need the treatment most.

Continue the healing process by resting your wrist. Limit the activities that may be aggravate your wrist. Without proper rest and limitation on activities, being active as if your wrist is healthy can lead to re-injury. Our hands give us the ability to perform both large and small complex motor skills - like picking up a heavy object or doing fine, detailed work. We often need both of these skills to perform everyday tasks like working on a computer, cleaning, putting away groceries, gardening, or playing sports. To get back to doing the things you love you need to give your body proper care and attention. Why risk having to limit or give up your favorite weekend activity, your exercise routine, or even your job due to a wrist injury?

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Facts

CTS is the result of nerves in your wrist getting squeezed by thickened/injured tendons in your wrist or hand.

According to the American College of Rheumatology, carpal tunnel syndrome affects 4 to 10 million Americans.

Women are 3 times more likely than men to develop CTS.

People are generally at a higher risk of developing CTS between the ages of 45 and 54.

The carpal tunnel space in the wrist is smaller in women than men.

Those with diabetes or other metabolic disorders that directly affect their nervous system may be at a higher risk of getting carpal tunnel syndrome.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is probably the most common nerve disorder experienced today.

Approximately 3.7% of individuals in the US suffer from CTS.

Usually carpal tunnel syndrome will only affect one hand, but it can affect both hands at the same time.

Children usually dont suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome.

Medications mask the pain but do very little in the healing of CTS.

Dear MendMeShop,

I recently went to a Rheumatologist and was diagnosed with DeQuervains tenosynovitis. I was tested and treated with a cortizone shot, pain medication and was told to continue using the brace I bought previous to the visit. The shot may have lasted all of 4 hours. I went online to research the condition and treatment. I ordered the Wrist Inferno Wrap immediately after reading the reviews and what it could do for the pain I was experiencing. To my surprise this wrap starting working within a couple of days. I could not believe it! Although this treatment indicates it would take atleast 4 to 6 weeks, I am experiencing relief already. The nodule beneath my thumb where I was experiencing the spasms has disappeared. THIS PRODUCT really works. I am so greatful to you and endorse this product 100%. I am hoping to be completely healed with continued use soon. Thank you so much for creating a product that TRULY WORKS. I use as recommended 3 times a day including in the office. I rate this product as EXCELLENT!

Dear MendMeShop,

I am a very active individual. If I am not running or lifting weights you can usually find me doing various outdoor and home improvement projects. That is why when I recently started experiencing pain in my shoulder, upper arm and forearm I concluded that I had aggravated an old rotator cuff injury. Initially I ignored the discomfort, thinking that that would make it magically disappear but, to my disappointment the pain only continued to get worse. After a couple of months of I pain, I decided to do something for myself. I tried stretching exercises, massage, the heating pad and ibprofen but nothing seemed to be helping. That's when I went online and found the Mend Me Shop and the inferno wrap for the shoulder seemed like a good way to wrap the heat around the immediate area that needed treating. When I picked up the package from the post office I was anxious to get started. I was so pleased that after only three days of using the products, I was feeling relief. It's only been a little over a week since I started treatments and I can say that I can once again imagine living without the that constant pain. Thanks so much for the relief !!!

Dear MendMeShop,

So far so good. After using a variety of ice packs there is no comparison in comfort and success of reducing swelling in the affected areas with these “Freezie Wraps”. We will continue to use them and let you know how it goes!

Dear MendMeShop,

I suffered a repeat motion injury to my wrist at work about 2 months ago. I did a lot of research online and self diagnosed myself with intersection syndrome, a condition of the tendons that run from the back of the thumb, under the muscles in the back of the wrist, and up the back of the forearm. I was reinjuring or irritating it every day with the simplest of tasks. I could barely use that hand at all, and the swelling was severe. I found your website and after reading the positive results I decided to order your wraps although very skeptical. I alternated the hot and cold wraps and I haven't had a problem with the wrist since. I do a lot of awkward and heavy lifting at work, and have not felt the slightest irritation. 3 times in 4 days and GONE! I still can't believe it. I am forever grateful for finding you.

Dear MendMeShop,

I'm a believer in your products. My wife had plantar fasciitis a few years ago. I did some research and came across your website. What impressed me the most and encouraged me to purchase was the response I read from your founder to a naysayer whom had never even tried your wraps. This guy was bashing your products when all others were praising them. Your owner invited him to Canada with airfare included to tour the headquarters! Anyway, I figured it was the real deal and so did he after that! My wife's brother is a chiropractor she literally healed her foot with the use of your inferno wrap and another treatment in a couple of weeks! I personally have Golfers elbow in both arms. I've been using the Inferno wrap for about 5 days so far. I haven't used the Freezie wrap yet as I really haven't much pain and no swelling. I definitely feel that it's working already. I'm confident that within a couple of weeks or more I'll be good as new! Thanks again for being part of such a wonderful company that stands behind its product! Sincerely, Jim Rossi
